Accomodation
1What types of accommodation do you provide?
We offer Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Short-Term Accommodation (STA) in Cairns and Mareeba. Our homes are safe, welcoming, and designed to support independence, with 24/7 staff available if needed.
2Who can access accommodation services?
NDIS participants with funding for SIL or STA are eligible. We’ll work with you, your family, and your support coordinator to ensure the right match.
3Can I visit before moving in?
Yes — we encourage participants and families to tour our accommodation so you can feel confident and comfortable before making a decision.
Documents & Membership
1What documents are required to start services with Pharaoh Care?
To begin, we’ll usually ask for your NDIS plan, support budget details, and any existing service agreements. Our team will guide you through this step by step.
2Do you help with NDIS paperwork?
Absolutely. Our staff can assist with service agreements, care planning, and referrals so that you can focus on your goals rather than the paperwork.
3Can family members be involved in planning?
Yes, we encourage the involvement of family, carers, or guardians to ensure your support plan reflects your needs and preferences.
Diet & Daily Living
1Do you provide meals or help with special diets?
Yes — we can assist with meal preparation, cooking, and nutrition, including support for special dietary needs (diabetes-friendly, gluten-free, cultural meals, etc.).
2Can I choose what meals I eat?
Of course. All meals and menus are based on your preferences and health requirements. You’re in control of your choices.
3Do staff help with daily routines?
Yes — our support workers provide assistance with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and household tasks, ensuring your independence and dignity are respected.
Activities & Community Participation
1What activities are available through Pharaoh Care?
We run a wide variety of activities through our Community Hub and in the community, including:

* Cooking and life skills classes
* Social outings and community events
* Recreational trips to beaches, farms, and markets
2Can I suggest activities I’d like to do?
Yes! We welcome your input and adapt activities to suit your interests and abilities.
3Do activities cost extra?
Most activities are included in your NDIS plan under community participation. Any additional costs (e.g., tickets for events) will be discussed with you beforehand.
